Mechanisms for Enhancing and Redistributing Revenues from Solidarity Levies<\/h3>\n

The Global Solidarity Levies Task Force (GSLTF) seeks to establish a transparent and efficient mechanism for channelling the revenues from solidarity levies to poorer and more vulnerable countries for climate and development purposes.<\/p>\n

To this end, the Secretariat is opening a Call for Proposals on potential mechanisms that can effectively manage these financial flows in a manner that is efficient, equitable, and accountable.<\/p>\n

This Call for Proposals seeks ideas and thoughts on innovative and practical proposals of mechanisms for handling the revenues from solidarity levies in order to inform discussions among the GSLTF. All proposals received will be shared with governments engaging with the GSLTF to inform their thinking and consideration of options.<\/p>\n
